Briggs Coaches is a company with rich history. Going from strength to strength since
1970 we have expanded from just one vehicle to a mixed fleet of executive coaches.

Briggs Coaches was established in 1970 with one vehicle in operation. In the late
70’s we expanded into a larger company with more vehicles ranging from cars to 53
In the late 1980’s we changed from a coach firm to a Mini Coach firm where we experimented
for a couple of years with self-drive hire mini buses.
During the 1990’s we re-established the company as a mini bus and coach firm with
our vehicles ranging from 8 seat up to 25 seat coaches and disbursing of the self-drive
hire side of the company. Throughout this period school, industrial contracts and
private hire were our main customers. We also offered local public houses vehicle
hire for game nights.
In the late 1990’s and early 2000’s we up-sized our vehicles, making our largest
coach, a 33 seat higher specification passenger transporter for private hire and
privately organised tour work.
By 2002 we had purchased our first brand new luxury Mercedes mini coach to continue
the progress of the company. Later on that year we up-sized to 35 seat luxury coaches,
purchasing two brand new BMC 35 seat luxury mini coaches, allowing us to focus more
on a higher grade of passenger comfort.
We now have a mixed fleet of Executive and Standard coaches from 18 to 35 seats for
all types of work.
